Imma just say it: CP. It's a pretty much stock NA 300ZX with 60k miles for $20k. That's absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah, that's pretty CP. It's super clean and nice and all, just overpriced. If it was a twin turbo with the same qualities, it would be closer.
The Z just isn't appreciating like the Supras are.

In his defense, it is amazing.
So for me it's a NC CP : Nice car with a crack(head) price
But it IS very nice.

You might want to let this guy know that people can get a Twin Turbo with 10k less miles, for 3k less. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nissan-300…

I can get how many 1995 Mustang GTs for that? Maybe 3-5 in good condition. That right there is a Super CP IMO.

Everything about the car except the odometer is immaculate. If the seller is patient enough... he just might get his money, or close to it. Not from me though.
Unrelated: What do I need if I want to stop lurking on commenting from the peanut gallery and join the Oppo party? I need some fellow gear heads to either talk me into or out of a 280Z.

Please do not respond to this ad if not willing to pay the asking price of $20,500
So he's never going to sell, is what he is saying

Have to agree. Going to have to wait a while for an NA motor to reach that price.

Pristine =|= Priceless. It seems to me that this car is his "baby" (we've all had one) and someone in his life is forcing him to sell it (likely a wife who is feeling sidelined for this car) and so he's listing it for a price that he knows nobody would take.

Wow. Now that one is sweet. I love the stock wheels. Also, $45k new sticker price in 1995? Holy hell.

A co worker of mine picked on of these up, just as clean!
Except it was a twin turbo.
And he only paid 10k.
Crack fucking piiiiiiipe!

Adjusted for inflation, that's $65k in today's money.

Done! The problem here is that I can only have one project at a time, and buying an $800 ran-when-parked 280z means I have to call off my search for a clean 944 turbo. It also precludes Alfa Spiders, C4 Corvettes, MR-2's, a smattering of bimmers, a whole host of 60's cars, etc, etc.
So, do folks around here usually introduce themselves, or just have at it?
